The installation of sesame white granite car stop columns should balance stability and practicality, with core considerations revolving around three aspects: pre preparation, installation operation, and post inspection.
Accurate positioning is required in the early stage, and lines should be marked on the ground according to the design spacing (usually 1.5-2 meters), avoiding underground pipelines (confirming the direction with the property management in advance). The drilling diameter should be 5-10mm larger than the embedded parts at the bottom of the column, and the depth should not be less than 15cm to ensure bearing capacity. At the same time, check the appearance of the car stop pillar, remove stones with cracks or missing corners, and avoid damage caused by force after installation.
During installation, first pour cement mortar (ratio 1:3) into the hole, fix it with embedded parts, align the bottom of the guardrail with the embedded parts, adjust the verticality (calibrated with a level, deviation not exceeding 2mm), fill the gaps and compact them. If used in densely populated areas such as parking lots, the bottom of the column needs to be reinforced with welded steel plates to enhance its collision resistance.
Maintenance and labeling are required in the later stage. After installation, water and maintain for 3-5 days, during which collisions are prohibited; After maintenance is completed, reflective strips can be attached to the top of the pillar to enhance nighttime recognition, ensure pedestrian and vehicle safety, and fully utilize the isolation and protection function of the barrier pillar.
